The Mendoza C-1934 was a Mexican-designed light machine gun developed by Rafael Mendoza in the early 1930s. It was chambered for the 7x57mm Mauser cartridge, a standard caliber for the Mexican military at the time. The weapon utilized a gas-operated, tilting bolt mechanism and was fed from a top-mounted, curved 20-round detachable magazine. The design was compact and relatively lightweight, making it well-suited for mobile infantry use. The C-1934 incorporated elements from other contemporary light machine guns but featured Mendoza's own innovations, such as an improved cooling system and simplified construction for ease of maintenance.

Production of the Mendoza C-1934 was limited, as Mexico's military requirements were not extensive, and international conflicts of the period did not necessitate mass production.
